WILSON FARMS RAISES $ 39,142 FOR NEW YORK'S HOSPICE PROGRAMS
Locally owned & operated Wilson Farms raised $ 39,142 for New York State hospice programs. The check represents proceeds raised this past summer with the "Sunflower Days" promotion across NY State. More than 17 Hospice organizations in NY benefited from the customer driven paper pin up campaign. Locally, $ 20,000 was raised for Hospice Buffalo in Erie County.
Hospice is a way of caring for patients with end-of-life illnesses and supporting their family and loved ones through the illness and dying process. Hospice addresses the physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs of the patient and the family. The goal is to help patients live in comfort and dignity, surrounded by the warm and loving presence of loved ones.
