"FROM THE HEART" VALENTINE'S DAY CHOCOLATES RAISE FUNDS FOR SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN

 

This Valentine's Day make it "From the Heart." The Hospice Foundation will be holding its annual chocolate sale from February 12 - 14 at the Walden Galleria Mall, on the lower level near Lord & Taylor from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m., and at the Hospice Mitchell Campus Bistro, 225 Como Park Blvd., from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

"From the Heart" offers quality chocolate items from Choco-Logo Confectionery Design, downtown Buffalo's only chocolate factory. The assortment includes:
• Individual Hearts at 75 cents each - milk chocolate and dark chocolate foiled hearts
• 4 oz. Package of Individual Hearts $ 6 - milk chocolate and dark chocolate foiled hearts
• 12 oz. Almond Pecan Nutcorn, $ 11 - large kernel popcorn coated in buttery caramel, tossed with almonds and pecan halves and drizzled with milk, dark and white chocolate
• 10 oz. Fancy Pretzels, $ 15 - an assortment of cashew toffee crunch, dark coconut, marble swirl and milk nonpareil pretzels.

Proceeds will benefit Essential Care for Children, the nationally recognized pediatric home care program of Hospice Buffalo. Children in the Essential Care program have conditions such as congenital heart disease, cancer, cystic fibrosis and other life-threatening illnesses. Essential Care for Children provides medical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual care to these children and their families.
