HOSPICE BUFFALO TO HOLD NEW VOLUNTEER OPEN HOUSE
Cheektowaga, NY. December 14, 2007- Hospice Buffalo invites all interested volunteers, age 13 and up, on Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon or 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to attend the New Volunteer Open House at the Hospice Mitchell Campus Education Center, 225 Como Park Blvd. in Cheektowaga.
Hospice has a variety of volunteer opportunities to choose from, including fundraising events such as the Hospice Memorial Walk, Spring Bouquet Sale, Harvest Festival wine tasting event as well as to administrative work, or working directly with Hospice patients and families. Volunteer hours are flexible and can always fit your schedule. Teens can volunteer for Hospice's Compassionate Heroes Active Teens Program (CHAT), where youth can build community service hours for school and gain experience working in a health care setting. Meet new friends while helping out within your community!

Hospice Buffalo provides medical care, emotional and spiritual support for people with serious illness and their families. Hospice care is available in homes, hospitals, assisted living/nursing homes, and at the Hospice Mitchell Campus in Cheektowaga.
